Regularly clean the mattress surface with a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and hair, preventing dust accumulation from affecting your sleep environment. For minor stains, gently wipe with a damp cloth, then blot away excess moisture with a dry cloth to keep the mattress dry. Avoid washing directly with large amounts of water, as this can allow moisture to seep into the springs and filling, causing mold.

For stubborn stains, use a specialized mattress cleaner or a neutral detergent. Spray the cleaner onto the stain, then gently wipe with a clean cloth, and finally let it air dry in a well-ventilated area. During cleaning, avoid over-wetting the mattress and do not use strong alkaline cleaners containing bleach, as these can damage the fabric and comfort layer. To reduce cleaning frequency, you can add a waterproof mattress protector to the mattress to prevent liquid seepage and also to isolate dust and sweat. Additionally, maintain good air circulation in the bedroom and regularly rotate and flip the mattress to avoid localized pressure points, which helps the mattress dry and extends its lifespan.
