Before installing a spring mattress, confirm that the mattress size matches the bed frame and check that the packaging is intact. The bed frame or slats need to be flat and sturdy to avoid protruding objects scratching the mattress. When unpacking the mattress, handle it carefully to avoid scratching the fabric with knives, and clear the space around the bed to ensure the installation area is clean and safe. Lay the mattress flat on the bed frame or slats, aligning it with the center of the frame and ensuring symmetry. If the mattress has "head/foot" or "top/bottom" markings, be sure to place it correctly according to the markings. For larger or heavier mattresses, it is recommended that two people work together to move it, avoiding pulling or bending the mattress to protect the internal spring structure from damage.

After placing the mattress, gently press the surface flat to allow the comfort layer to fully adhere to the springs, then cover it with a sheet or mattress protector. Check that the mattress is stable and that it is in close contact with the bed frame on all sides, ensuring that the mattress will not slide. For zoned support mattresses, you can make slight adjustments according to your personal habits at the beginning of use to find the most comfortable sleeping position.
